Product Overview:

 BA-5690 Epoxy Mica Iron Middle Lacquer is a kind of two-component epoxy lacquer formulated by mica iron oxide as pigment, which has the properties of seawater resistance, corrosion resistance, collision resistance, mineral oil resistance, aliphatic hydrocarbon resistance and many chemicals.

Scope of Application:

1）As primer and intermediate paint of epoxy series for steel and cement concrete surfaces.

2）Applied as high quality intermediate and top coats on the surfaces of bridges, car decks and steel buildings.

3） Applied as primer of epoxy paint series to the surface of electroplated steel plate and aluminium alloy.

　　Drying time: surface drying 4h, solid drying (fully cured): 7 days

　　Re-coating interval: minimum 6h, maximum 5 days

 Construction instructions:

 Surface treatment: The painted surface must be clean and free of grease and other dirt. When used directly as antirust primer, the steel must be treated with antirust treatment first, and as intermediate paint or topcoat, it must be applied on the primed surface. For special surface treatment, please contact our technical department.

 Suggested paint matching:

　　Primer: Caitian epoxy zinc-rich primer BA-85# or epoxy iron red primer BA-5110 coated once, reference dosage: 0.15kg/㎡;

Intermediate paint: Colour field epoxy mica middle layer paint BA-5690 coated once, reference dosage: 0.15kg/㎡;

　　Top coat: Colour field acrylic polyurethane top coat BA-800 painted twice, reference dosage: 0.25kg/㎡.

 Construction method: airless spraying, brushing or general spraying.

 Safety code:

   1) Flammable items, keep away from sources of ignition. Smoking is not advisable within the construction area.　

   2) Air circulation must be maintained during construction and certain protective measures must be adopted. Avoid inhaling solvent vapour or paint mist, skin and eyes must not come into contact with this product.

   3）Store in a cool and dry place.
