Caitian BA-ET is a high solids two-component epoxy resin coating.

Construction instructions

Mixing: Pour the components A and B into the mixing tank in proportion and stir evenly. Note that the material to be mixed should be quickly constructed and the time left in the barrel should not be too long. Note that it is not allowed to scrape the mixture adhering to the wall of the bucket and the bottom of the bucket when pouring out the mixture to prevent possible uneven mixing.

Construction method

1. Undercoat: Caitian BA-30# base oil, the reference dosage is about 0.15kg/m2, which should be determined according to the condition of the surface of the site, and the uniform film formation shall prevail;

2. the middle coating: according to the flatness and strength of the base surface, using the color field BA-M epoxy intermediate coating to mix quartz powder (or quartz sand) to the required thickness;

3. Pour the BA-ET A and B mixture onto the dried coating, scrape it with a spatula, and then roll out the desired pattern with a special roller.

Reference dosage: about 0.20 kg/m2 (fine grain effect); about 0.40 kg/m2 (rough grain effect).

Paint film surface layer thickness: 100 ~ 200um (fine grain dry film); 300 ~ 400um (rough grain dry film).

Tool cleaning: Caitian eight brand epoxy thinner.

Construction conditions: It is recommended to use this product above 10 °C. In order to avoid condensation of water vapor, the construction base surface is required to be dry and clean, the moisture content of the base surface is less than 4%, and the relative humidity of the air is less than 85%. Good ventilation should be maintained during construction and drying in confined spaces.

First paint: first apply epoxy base oil and medium coat.

Add paint: no.

Precautions

1. The environment is required to be clean during construction, and the air is dry and dust-free;

2. During the construction and curing, when the relative humidity of the air is greater than 80%, the surface of the paint film will have back adhesion and loss of light; if the strength of the paint film is no problem, it will not affect the quality of the floor;

3. The circulation of air will affect the drying time;

4. The base oil should be uniformly coated on the base surface. The condition of the base will change the amount of coating, drying time and recoating interval.

Storage: sealed and stored in a cool, ventilated place, protected from moisture, sun, and frost.

Shelf life: 6 months.
